<p>The history of personal electronics is marked by new uses. The latest new use is the e-reader, or electronic book reader. These devices occupy the middle ground between bulky, heavy laptop computers and cell phones with minuscule screens. Similar in size and weight to a magazine or paperback book, e-readers promise to give their owners access to great literature or trashy novels - any time, anywhere.</p><p>E-readers typically use a liquid-ink technology that makes text on the screen look more like text on the printed page. Displays are usually book-sized, and range from a five-inch diagonal screen to screens the size and shape of printer paper. Controls are usually mounted on the bottom or sides of the reader.</p><p>The major players</p><p>As of 2009, Amazon and Sony dominate the e-reader market. The focusing mechanism consists of a toothed thumbwheel, which is linked to the lens via another toothed wheel between the thumbwheel and the lens barrel. The thumbwheel allows you to focus the lens.</p><p>The C3 is a rangefinder camera, and unfortunately, the rangefinder is tiny. A small window about five-millimeters in diameter makes it a little awkward to focus. It also has a separate viewfinder which can be used if the rangefinder was not accurate, which in my case it was. The thing with the C3 is that in its design it allows the photographer to adjust the settings of the rangefinder by adjusting the thumbwheel positioning, by removing it and then replacing it where the correct focus range is obtained. You must be aware that negative thoughts do exist and that when they do arise you must be fully aware of their presence. This is easier said than done, because so much of our lives are run on habit and we are very seldom actually in the present to be fully aware of our thought processes. To raise your awareness of your thoughts you need to live in the present moment and turn your attention inwards.</p><p>3) Choose the appropriate response to your thoughts. It is at this stage that you will decide to respond positively to the thought or simply dismiss it. Allow a thought to be in your presence for one second before you respond to it. Too often we are quick to react to a thought, based on the underlying emotion we feel and therefore we often end up acting out an unnecessary behaviour.</p><p>Take your time and be selective, you do not have to react to every thought or impulse that comes into your mind. If it feels right then you can act accordingly. By being responsive and not impulsive will enable you to win back the control over your thoughts. If you are thinking negatively about a situation reframe your attitude toward it.</p><p>Reframing your Attitude. "Energy flows where attention goes" You will always get what you focus on. So why not focus on the positive aspect of the issue.</p><p>4) Address and remove the issue that is causing the structural stress. Imagine your life is a hot air balloon and complete physical, mental, emotional and spiritual freedom is when the balloon is flying, but first you must cut the ropes that are keeping you grounded. Think of these ropes as issues that need to be addressed and removed before you have complete freedom.</p><p>By seeking the truth you will be set free. To do this you need to ask yourself some quality questions. A quality question is one that ultimately leads to the root cause of an issue. It is one that prompts thought by the receiver of the question and opens up a new level of awareness.Example:</p><p>If I am carrying too much body fat and I have concern for my health, I would need to ask myself</p><p>Why has this situation occurred? My answer may be because I dont have time to cook and therefore I only buy take away food.</p><p>I would then ask myself, OK why do I not have time to cook? Because I am too busy at work.</p><p>I would then ask.. Why am I too busy at work? Because I have to pay for my mortgage and two kids.</p><p>What would it mean to me if I couldnt pay for the mortgage and the welfare of my kids? It would mean that we are unable to live to a level of lifestyle quality that I choose and that I would be seen as a failure in my wife and familys eyes.</p><p>How would that make you feel? "I would feel Gulity"</p><p>Can you see how quality questions soon get to the true cause of a persons issue? Note how the original symptom was the persons concern for his level of body fat and how this was affecting his health. However, when quality questions were asked it soon became evident that his real issue was one of not wanting to feel guilty for being a failure to provide for his family.</p><p>Make a conscious effort to ask yourself some quality questions. Once you have found the root cause of the issue focus on finding an appropriate solution to the issue. Too often we will focus on a problem in a situation rather than focusing on a solution.</p><p>Too often this is the case with modern medicine and pharmaceutical companies, they will look to treat the symptoms of an illness or ailment rather treating the underlying cause of the issue. To do this they create a solution that only masks the disease, which often has negative side effects.</p><p>The key with your health and well being is to consistently focus your thoughts on how to achieve the best possible solution to your problem. The best way to do this is to prevent it ever becoming a problem in the first place.</p><p>5) Live in the present moment. It is important to go through life being permanently aware of how you feel. This means being in the now, not the past or the future. Be here now!! The present is the only thing you have absolute power over in your life.</p><p>Close any old or incomplete cycles of energy in your life. This will free up your energy that is stuck in the past and give you a lot more energy to deal with more important issues in the present.</p><p>An excellent technique for being present is to go through each of the five senses and describe exactly what they are feeling like to you at this time. Really taste your food, smell smells, see colours, hear sounds, and feel objects. What do they really feel like? This is also a good way to sober up an intoxicated person, because a drunk person is just out of their mind (or reality) when they are drunk. This brings them back into their body, back into the now. With the many Martian high technologies spread equally throughout the Earth no one country will feel threatened by these new advances in science.  And the 95% of the Martian survivors will be saved in their time of need during 2012 when their Colony is severely damaged.<br /><br />&lt;P&gt;It is only with firm insistant radio contacts with the Mars Colony that a dialogue can be established and reassurance of welcome can be given over time. Yet although we think of early computers and "Silicon Valley" as being upstarts in their back yard garages it was the market stalwart IBM not the "innovators" who laid the basis and standards of today's computers that grace all our desks.</p><p>The very first microcomputer machines were as impressive as they assisted people do functions at speeds that were never fancied beforehand. But, they were not as superb and fast as we know them today. Much has been utilized to enhance them over the years. Early computers had countless problems. They were infested by constant hard disk failures. Without any caution, a user's disk would break down and vital and crucial data would be lost.</p><p>Sure the upstarts are they Apple, which started the Apple computers in an ordinary garage and used a case made of wood the IBM execs, initiated a crash program to develop a "personal "computer. Apple computers were turning up in the back offices of many corporations all too often. Even threats to the IT departments by blue suited even intimidating IBM sales people would not stop this trend or even reduce its occurrence.</p><p>IBM, the market behemoth and market leader was goaded one would say into the development of the IBM PC. Yet it was all supposed to end there. IBM , one of the largest , and most lucrative of firms of its day, the very basis of the "free worlds" major computer hardware and day to day behind the scenes highest level of technical support had little intention of making a "go" of the personal computer. Why after all ruin a good - if not great thing - for IBM, its employees and hefty bonuses? Why change a good thing, change IBM's business plan and the computer industry market. After all IBM's basis, its business and the basis of its profits and profitability were based on one thing and one thing alone - giant single computers referred to as "mainframes" large behemoths. IBM had little interest or intentions of creating , promoting and marketing smaller personal computers -PCs- as opposed to the giant computers the mainframes. There was little money in it for IBM.</p><p>Yet the engineers involved in the IBM PC project were determined. Egos were perhaps involved. It seemed that to add insult to injury that many of the Apple computers in the field so to speak were placed on departmental budgets as fund requests for "IBM Selectric Typewriters." Both it seemed cost out at approximately $ 3,000 dollars. To put the figure in relative terms at the time a new car cost in the range of $ 3,000. So did an Apple computer and so would an eventual IBM PC computer?</p><p>What made the final approach and resulting product of the early IBM PC different was that in their determination to bring the product to market within the short time frames specified that they had to use and utilize "off the shelf "components. Previously all other earlier products from IBM were proprietary products produced in house by IBM itself or one of its dedicated trusted suppliers.</p><p>The IBM PC development team in its determination used off the shelf components to bring their product to market within the time frame allotted for the development of the project. One has to remember that the purpose of the committee to develop the PC was to shut down the project effectively and bury it in the dust.</p><p>Yet by using standard, run of the mill components, IBM laid the seeds and the very basis of "computing industry". Ordinary electronic hobbyists, who previously had "built" computers and assembled early computer kits such as the "Altair", quickly realized that they could put together or "build" their own computers out of the same commercial components as IBM. It was all the same, or most similar - except for the blue IBM logo.</p><p>It may not have exactly been an IBM branded computer yet Michael Dell and a host of other "clone makers" realized that they could put out a most similar product to the genuine IBM product at a portion of the price. Even if they bought only one or two components at the time, with no volume purchasing power they could sell their product, and offer options as well that the market leader could not, sell it cheaply and still make good money.</p><p>Michael Dell's company "Dell Computers" itself grew out of his computer assembly services in his own college dorm.
